Great stay, delicious food and...

Liked: Staff were lovely, food was great. We dined in the evening and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Buffet breakfast was great too. Lots of choice.
Disliked: Coffee was great but the coffee machine was precariously leaning over. Please replace the table or prop up the centre to make it level. This was a real health and safety risk.

Very helpful and friendly staff...

Liked: The hotel was in a good central location for visiting family and friends in the area. All the staff were very friendly from start to finish of our four night stay. The grounds were well kept and attractive, especially in the sunny weather. The meals we has in the restaurant were well presented.
Disliked: We were rather dismayed that no meal option was available for our first evening, which was a Sunday . This was not indicated on the hotel website and I only found out by accident. I ended up taking a salad picnic to eat in our room. There is a small fridge in all the rooms which was helpful in the circumstances.

Great location and staff

Liked: This is a great hotel due to its location, minutes from the M42 means you can get anywhere (traffic permitting) pretty quickly. Staff are great, always friendly and happy to help. The rooms are a good size. There's a bar and restaurant.
Disliked: One of the hotels USPs is that it's a relaxing location but unfortunately they pipe music to both the front and back gardens and it's not easy to escape. Be aware there's no food on a Sunday night, but I pre-ordered a sandwich which was delivered to my room. Some rooms (mine was number 10) are very close to the function rooms so you may be disturbed until midnight. There doesn't appear to be any lifts so disabled people need to check with the hotel prior to booking.
