Great food and good location

A lovely short stay

Liked: The hotel is situated in a lovely country lane with a beautiful garden and facade. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very tasty but could of done with an extra sausage and hash brown only got one.
Disliked: The room we had didn't have a great view of the garden instead we just had the roof. And the room was very hot, no air con, the windows was opened but made no difference had to block my mind from thinking about the heat. Imagine on a hot day that room would be unbearable.The bed were twin beds but using them apart meant that getting to the bathroom was a squeeze and you couldn't open the fridge wide.

Liked: Great venue !!
Disliked: Breakfast order was incorrect and took 45 mins to arrive.Only one person covering guest orders, otherwise all OK

Would not recommend, but would...

Liked: The staff they were really nice and could not do enough for us. Felt bad asking for towels and toilet roll and milk but who ever cleaned the bedroom of room 7 did not do a good job. Sorry to say. The venue was nice for the party we went too.
Disliked: The room was over looking roof of the conservatory, there was a whole in the bathroom door. We had no towels in our bedroom, there was half a toilet roll, there was no milk to be able to make a drink in the morning. The breakfast was ok but not quality sausage or bacon.
