Liked: Very helpful when we needed a late checkout. Accommodated our breakfast snack outside of the menu for our Parkrun. The box of chocolates was a nice touch and the room was perfect, sockets and mirrors well located. Great location close to the A1.We will return.

Very good

Liked: Staff were welcoming and helped us find out more about this historic property. Restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Location near the river was beautiful and must be lovely in the summer. Bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very basic accommodation not really...

Disliked: It was a little dated. The carpets were stained and dirty. The bed mattress was hard. There were no nets on the windows so had to get dressed/undressed with the curtains drawn and the lighting was very poor.

Liked: Beautiful peaceful setting. Lovely restaurant with good range of foods. Attentive staff at reception and in the restaurant. Comfy room with spacious bathroom. Good water pressure!
