Curates egg.
Liked: I didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment. The reception staff are lovely and helpful. The location for BL and BM is excellent.
Disliked: The bathrooms and, particularly, the showers are cramped. I stayed at the George, also on Cartwright Gardens, earlier this year and, although small, the bathrooms afforded better facilities.

all in all an ok...
Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The doors to the rooms slam shut, so you wake up every time somebody opens and closes the door to their room. There are carpets on the floor, they smell badly and heavy and it didn't feel clean. The bathroom was not very clean.

Good no frills hotel in...
Liked: The location of the hotel is very close to main station and great for staying in central London. The price is very good and they also accept cash which is nice. If you want a low key no questions asked place to stay this is it.
Disliked: No en-suite bathroom and no air conditioning, these are both things that they could address to improve staying at this hotel.

Pleasant stay and great location...
Liked: Very nice, quiet street where the Judd is located in the Bloomsbury area. Short walk to Kings Cross/St Pancras station which was very convenient for our other travels (both in London and venturing out of it). The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We arrived early and our room was not yet ready, but they gladly stored our bags while we explored the city. Also one of the best breakfasts we had on our entire trip. On the last day we had to leave before breakfast started in order to catch our flight, but the front desk even offered to go make us a coffee and see if any food was available for us to take with us.
Disliked: Our room was only one floor up and we are all fine climbing a few stairs, but for those who struggle you might want to be conscious of this. Our only complaint was the carpet in the room was rather outdated and felt a little dirty, but that was likely more due to the wear and tear on it than the lack of the room being cleaned.

Not recommened at all
Disliked: I had a very disappointing experience with the breakfast staff at this hotel — quite honestly, the worst I’ve ever encountered. I arrived 10 minutes before breakfast ended, and instead of being welcomed, I was met with the staff banging dishes loudly and aggressively. As soon as I walked in, they started clearing the food with visible annoyance, slamming plates and glasses, and speaking to each other in raised, unpleasant tones. They looked visibly irritated and made no effort to be polite — quite the opposite. The entire atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and frankly, very disrespectful. It’s unacceptable for hotel guests to be treated this way, especially in a hospitality setting. This level of service is far below any reasonable standard, and I would not recommend this place based on that experience alone.
