Would definitely stay again. Well...

Liked: Good location between Sheringham & Cromer.Good train facilities.Lovely walk along the beach in either direction.Good sized room, bathroom was ok and breakfast hamper was lovely.Staff were really friendly and made our stay.
Disliked: Front facing road side room was a little noisy with traffic

Liked: Good parking. View from room. We liked the breakfast hamper but a pity there was only instant coffee.
Disliked: Our shower was mouldy on the edges. Pipework in the bathroom not professional. Room was dated.

Liked: The staff was very nice and location is great for walks on the coast or the beach. The food is good and the bar is nice. Weather was a bit too cold to fully benefit from the outdoor area but great sea view.
Disliked: The room was super noisy, walls are paper thin, creaky floor boards from room upstairs, slamming doors to bar/reception and music from the bar. Bathroom was clean but electric shower had hardly any pressure and difficult to find a setting where you either not burnt nor frozen....Kitchen close at 7pm so better get a table early if you want dinner....

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL NEVER AGAIN...

Liked: What breakfast??
Disliked: Room overlooking busy road, so could not open window.Staff did not seem happy.NO atmosphere. No people around.Hamper terrible idea. Husband could not eat/drink most things. Normally stay twice a year and lovely cooked breakfast suitable for diabetic but no warning of ghastly hamper already in room on arrival. Nothing fresh in hamper . No ham. No cheese so no protein. Porridge oats which needed boiling water poured over which was disgusting. Room not suitable for children, or us, as only a coffee table provided to eat off. HEALTH and SAFETY issue here as you would not want children around when trying to make hot drinks and pour boiling water over porridge.We were going to have meal in restaurant with local friends but last orders were 7.30. So cancelled as did not want to be rushed through meal or be told no further orders as restaurant now closed. How very sad as we had booked bed and breakfast and so very disappointed to receive a cheap alternative. No members of staff available as we left. Just room key in box.
