Nice place, quiet location

Liked: It's a nice place. Quiet location. A nice room, with lots of windows, tastefully furnished. Fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Comfy bed. Friendly staff.Lovely pizza at lunchtime in the bar
Disliked: All window blinds had to closed all the time as overlooked on all angles, particularly the bathroom, which didn't have privacy glass. Having to ask for orange juice at breakfast. Having to pay extra for a 2nd cup of tea and coffee when paying £175 for the room. Bathroom door was temperamental and came right off the runner. Water in shower got so hot that i had to jump out as it was burning me.Staff were very busy with a packed breakfast restaurant, when we checked out, and we didn't discuss any of the above points, not that we wanted to complain, just for them to be aware of

Delightful, lovely pub with rooms

Liked: Everything was lovely. Delightful room, staff and food. We had dinner with friends and we all highly rated the good. Would definitely go again.

Liked: Lovely meal and accommodation was first class , very friendly staff.
Disliked: Only slight thing was bathroom door was on a sliding rail and didn’t pull completely shut.

Liked: We came to the Devonshire arms because my son was taking part in the cross country nationals close by. We were blown away and would happily return.
