Liked: When we arrived it felt like we were slightly out of town and felt a bit remote to start. However, it was a 5-10 walk to Beale Street where most of the live music action and restaurants are located. A 5 minute walk to the Lorraine Motel. 5 minute walk to waterfront. Famous Peabody hotel 15 minute walk. Across the road was the famous Memphis Dinner where Elvis used to to go. And a couple of doors along a more ‘healthy’ option.
Disliked: Minor things.One coffee mug in room, so other choice was to use the takeaway cups provided.Curtains in room were off hooks.Often used food containers over flowing in bins by elevators

Liked: Nice room.Large stylish hotelStaff were very helpful and friendly,especially in the bar area
Disliked: Air conditioning so cold in the bar/eating area. Made it difficult to hang around. Even the staff said it was too cold.Not a nice area to walk to Beale street. Better to get a taxi

Exceeded Expectations

Liked: Fantastic location South Of Beale. Close enough to everything. I had 3 beautiful morning walks across Big River Crossing. Room was large and clean
Disliked: Sadly the trolley was not working, and may not be for months+Not the Hotels fault!

Disliked: Befuddling lay out - bad directions given for property, callous and odd staff, standing there waiting while they talk on the phone or to each other everywhere, not even looking up, had to call front desk (room phone didn't work) for a TV remote, no WiFi info given - very weird treatment by staff - just odd all the way around. Bartender completely blew off our order, apologized later. It was super a weird place. Staff needs customer service and manners training in the worst way (p.s. I am not a Karen and didn't complain or make a fuss, but jeeezzzz)
