Liked: The location was the only upside of the hotel
Disliked: Room and hallway smelled musty, very run down, the carpets were dirty from entry to the room and there were hairs on the bed sheets. EMPTY coffee/sugar sachets in room and dirty cups, no spoon. Staff not very attentive and reception was unmanned. £50 deposit charged on check in, this was not communicated before booking and I received an email about it 12 hours after checking in - just sounds like a money making scam when they cannot prove ‘damages’ when the room is disgusting anyways… Friend lost key and instead of providing a replacement after we asked nicely, the Indian bloke who was previously on reception thought it would be acceptable to shout from within HIS OWN room which he must be living in, like some sort of mad man, all because no one is on reception and phone doesn’t get answered most of the time. Spend an extra tenner and stay somewhere else where you get treated like a human.
