Very good value hotel for...

Liked: Clean and nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Not a 4 or 5 star hotel but a very good 3 star hotel and a good bargain for New York. Apparently they were closing for a few months for renovations shortly after I stayed so maybe it will be upgraded but unfortunately that might also stop it being one of the few good bargains for hotels in New York. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if the renovations don't make the price a lot higher.
Disliked: The area is a bit industrial so not one of the cool areas of Brooklyn but it seemed safe and the subway stop is very close so it is very easy to get to other parts of Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Pleasant stay in Bushwick

Liked: It’s a new facility so that has its benefits; the bathrooms especially, are very nicely appointed and roomy. The staff, service and amenities were very good. And really appreciated the ‘quiet time’ rule from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Also convenient subway access on the L line. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: It would nice if a coffee machine were provided in the lobby for guests. The nearest coffee place is three blocks away. Great coffee but still…..

Bad

Liked: The place was unfinished, the bed was broken, the elevator go stuck with people shouting and screaming inside of it. When we had to get to our room, we were asked to use the same elevator as that go stuck because they didnt couldnt send us down the stairs. The basement room had a window to the street with curtains that we couldnt reach. The airconditioning unit was sticking out of the ceiling. Room cleaning walked in on us and then instead of leaving kept the door open and continued to talk to us, asking we they could use our power socket for their vacuum cleaner
Disliked: EVERYTHING!
