Poor
Disliked: I had reserved a pet room but was informed upon arrival there was no pet room available for me. They charged me an extra $72. They have not returned my call abou this. Unhappy. Will not recommend.

Disliked: The Worst Experience Ever – Absolutely UnacceptableI informed the hotel in advance that I would be traveling with my dog and received confirmation that it wouldn't be a problem. When my family arrived late at night to check in, the small lobby was empty except for us. My daughter was standing beside me holding our 6-pound Maltipoo puppy, and since it was our first trip with our 7-month-old dog, we had brought everything from home – a metal pen, dog tent, and more. Our luggage literally blocked the tiny entrance.I saw my check-in documents were ready. The front desk staff asked me to sign up for a membership, which I did, and then handed me a paper to fill out car information if I had brought one. After completing everything, we got our key and went up to the room. The next morning, while we were checking out, the staff told me I had violated hotel policy and would be charged a fine. I was completely shocked. They claimed I hadn’t mentioned I was bringing a pet at check-in, and because of that, I was placed in a regular room, and now I had to pay around $80 in total – for a pet fee and deep cleaning.I insisted that I had clearly informed them beforehand and that the front desk staff should have already been aware. Also, unless they were blind, there was no way they could have missed our dog – my daughter was carrying her in plain sight, and my son struggled to push a luggage cart overloaded with massive dog supplies. The idea that they didn’t notice is either a cover-up for their own mistake in assigning the wrong room, or worse, a sneaky attempt to charge us extra.I asked to speak to the manager but was told no one was available. We had further plans that day, so we paid the ridiculous charge and left that awful place as fast as we could. Looking back, I’m not even convinced they actually have separate pet-friendly rooms. The room was small, outdated, smelled like old wood, and had cigarette burn marks on the blanket.

Liked: The one overnight staff, an absolutely lovely lady who's already given her notice to leave. She was apologetic, empathetic, and a breath of fresh air.
Disliked: Food crumbs all over the floor. Incomplete renovations. Toilet overflowed the first flush. Mini fridge was leaking cause it wouldn't shut. The pool was not open (the reason we chose this hotel), looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade.

Short but sweet.
Liked: We had to make a quick booking because we were blocked off from our home by an emergency. This was the best bang for our buck in this situation and we were happy with our stay.

Very good
Liked: Best cheap place I've stayed at in awhile. Room was clean and renovated. Some cigarette burn marks but no smell. Staff was all very friendly. Read previous reviews and was scared but checked everywhere and all was great. Stayed in early spring so no pool yet but will report back after the next stay.
