Shame that a nice comfortable stay was completely altered by unprofessional rude staff.

Liked: Room was warm and comfortable big bathroom very clean.
Disliked: Staff at front desk was helpful but short and very rude during Check in . The following morning the lady at the front desk was extremely rude insulting Flat out just nasty and very unpleasant to deal with. I had paid in cash and had put a 100 dollar deposit down. Apone check out we found that my wife's acrylic ( water based) Paint had split on the desk I apologized to staff and informed them it was a water based acrylic Paint my wife being an artist I am no stranger to clean up craft materials including paint . I offered to clean the desk and show the lady at the front desk that it was a water based Paint that would easily wipe off . At this point the woman attending the front desk Became very hostile telling me not to touch the split Paint that it would ruin the desktop And I would be charged for it. At this point maintenance personnel entered the room and easily removed the spilt Paint with a wet rag.. this made the front desk woman very angry As she began to pull the bedding and linens off the bed and loudly informed me that she was thoroughly inspecting every piece of bedding and every inch of the room for any Paint Damage.finding nothing further except a small wash rag with blue water based acrylic Paint On the corner of rag she deducted 10 dollars from the deposit and told me it would be washed and come back to retrieve the 10 dollars later if the rag came clean.
