Top marks on style, fails...

Liked: Decor in the downstairs restaurants, bar and lounge is lovely. Bathroom clean, powerful shower with plenty of hot water.
Disliked: No room service or night time food offering (as i entered the reception around 11pm a distressed guest was being told to order uber eats despite having tried to order from the restaurant an hour before it closed), cleaners not the most attentive - had to ask twice for room to be cleaned after leaving sign on the door, no telephone in the room so cannot call down for quick queries/services like eg. room service or wake up call - all contact must be made via whatsapp - given the price of the hotel and the demographic they are likely aiming at, the in room dining offering and general service level just isn’t good enough. For the same price I would stay at the South Place Hotel

Overall a great option in...

Liked: We really liked the location, it was close to transit but not in the middle of the touristy area, which we prefer. Great options of shops, pubs and restaurants close by. The shower was amazing and the bed was sooo comfortable. We had an wonderful meal at the restaurant (Lima), I highly recommend trying it. Everything was also so well decorated, loved how it felt chic but cozy at the same time. Staff was also very polite. Breakfast was not a big buffet (you could also order a la carte), but had all that we needed and everything was very high quality.
Disliked: We didn't get the room that showed when we booked it here. I checked their website and there it shows the correct one, so heads up that it might not look/be the same you are seeing on the photos here. Everything was very clean when we arrived, but during the stay we felt that the "keeping it" felt a bit short. We stayed for 5 days and except for one day that they actually cleaned the room, the other days the bed was not well made, we could see it was not vacuumed and one day we came back to the bath robe being on top of my suitcase. Like the suitcase that went through airports and cars and streets. Another feedback is making sure the staff knows about the promotions they are running on social media. We had 2 situations that I was promised a "surprise" on check-in (nothing happened and I just let it pass) and a discount on the restaurant (I had to ask the waiter to apply the discount). What bothered me is that they didn't had to do that, but once you create the expectation and nothing happens, you have a disappointed client right on the first day. Overall I felt the service did not meet the expectations I had.
