Disappointing

Disliked: Extremely noisy accommodation, more like a hostel. Very overpriced.

Perfect base to explore the...

Liked: The managers (Fiona and Gage) and staff (Alison was the only other we met) were all very friendly and accommodating of any requests. They were extremely helpful with recommendations for things to do with the kids and places to eat. The kids loved the bunk beds and the huge king bed was so comfortable too.We had to get in touch with one of the managers late one evening because of an issue outside our bedroom and she was on-site within 5 minutes and the problem was sorted immediately, very reassuring as I was on my own with my kids.The breakfast was delicious and Alison was great company and full of chat! The guest house is walking distance to the city, even with younger kids, or there is a bus stop just round the corner. The perfect location to explore the city every day.I can't recommend this guest house highly enough. We will most definitely be back.
Disliked: The shower might need a tweak to stop the water flowing out across the bathroom tiles (we used a towel to stop it getting too bad and it was saturated by the end of a shower) but this was a very minor issue and didn't cause us any problems.

Disliked: The room that i stayed in was not in the pictured they provided on the website. Shower was very small and broken.

Lovely place, great value!

Liked: The place was LOVELY and comfortable, Alison was so personable and kind, it was extremely clean, close to the city center, the breakfast was delicious, and they personalized our stay by acknowledging my husbands birthday with a banner, balloons and a cake—SO SWEET of them!!! We loved it and would stay again for sure!
Disliked: Don’t be fooled by the rough exterior, it could do with a bit of a paint job, but the interior was absolutely delightful! If you have a handicap, there is no elevator, but it’s a B&B so that’s typical.
