Nice, clean hotel.

Liked: Our room was very nice. Property was clean.
Disliked: Very disappointed that we were not advised about the construction/repairs at the property during our stay in the front. Really took away from the look/feel of the property.

Great location and really nice...

Liked: Hotel is in a quiet location but close to Westminster area. Room was compact but comfortable and very clean. Did not have breakfast as part of the package but there are plenty of places to eat locally.

Lovely stay at the St....

Liked: The hotel is lovely and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast is outstanding and the service by ALL the staff, is impeccable. Thank you!
Disliked: The bathroom we had in our room on our stay April 6, 2025, had nowhere to accommodate our toiletries. We understand this is an old, historic hotel, but feel that perhaps additional cabinets or shelving could be added under the sink area? Otherwise, it was a lovely stay. Thank you!

Liked: All in all a very nice experience, great location, excellent food. Only slightly dissapointing thing was that there was almost no storage space apart from the hangers in the closet.

Classy hotel in Westminster

Liked: Classy hotel with character. Once I had moved room, it was comfortable and allowed for a good rest. Staff were friendly and helpful, not least in the bar and restaurant. Restaurant food was high quality and innovative without being fussy. Overall, the hotel tries hard to live up to its reputation. Location is excellent.
Disliked: Even though I deliberately booked a superior room, the initial room I was allocated was tiny and overlooked the air conditioning system at the back of the hotel. I requested a change and got a slightly bigger room at the front of the hotel. I get tired of 5 star London hotels charging £400-500 a night (room only) and offering rooms barely suitable for one person, let alone two.
