Somerset House Hotel has been restored to the original splendor of its Edwardian roots. It offers boutique rooms with free Wi-Fi and parking just 450 yards from Southsea Beach. A lovely hotel set up, and very reasonably priced. A nice clean room with a lovely spa bathroom. Great breakfast included in price. I would highly recommend to friends and would stay here again.

Liked: Friendly staff; lovely room (especially the bathroom); good breakfast.

Very good

Liked: Room and decor was lovely. Food was great.
Disliked: The bar manager in the restaurant/pub opposite the reception building was incredibly rude to his staff. He was lovely to customers but my husband and I felt very uncomfortable with how he was speaking to his member of staff.

Great choice!

Liked: The room was a very good size, clean and well furnished. The location was excellent for enjoying Southsea and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.
