Liked: Loved the location close to lake Gregory and Lake Arrowhead. Walked around to explore every store we went in Everyone was very nice. They have no breakfast at this location there's a McDonald's right across the street and a Cafe restaurant walkable distance up the street that was very good. We stayed in the hotel room had a fridge and microwave. Next time I want to try out the cabins.

Place is nice, getting double-booked...

Liked: Look, overall the place is nice, staff amenable, but it was very frustrating dealing with them because they double booked our cabin. They blamed it on booking.com. Luckily they had a room in the "hotel" part of the property. But this is not what I paid for. My kids and I wanted a cabin experience, we brought food to cook in the kitchen, none of which happened during this stay. We made the best of it, but expected some restitution. Per their insistence that I take it up with Booking.com, I tried, and booking.com said I need to take it up with them because they already collected the payment (even though I called that same night). I've tried calling the property to handle this, but nobody has responded. Booking.com eventually refunded like $20 "for my trouble", but hardly a restitution for not getting anywhere near the cabin experience we paid for. As charming as this place seems, tough to trust justifying going again, or ever using booking.com again.
Disliked: Didn't like getting double-booked, super frustrating. Also, it's very difficult to get in touch with them. They should have a better system if this keeps happening.
