Liked: The views of Possession Sound,the Casacade, and Olympic Mountain ranges are incredible from the waterfront rooms. We even saw a sea lion in the tidewater looking for fish from our balcony. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished some with fireplace and soaking tubs. It was quiet and the staff was professional but friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great in the morning. Free onsite parking. This location is walkable to the beach, park, and several great restaurants, Ivars, Diamond Knot, the New Hook & Clever (formally Arnie's), and Red Cup cafe, just up the hill. Stroll along the beach front park with a soft serve ice cream cone from Ivars' walk-up windows. The Washington State Ferry (car and walk-on) goes to Whidbey Island every 20-30 minutes, which is only 2 minutes away. Don't forget about spectacular sunsets over Whidbey Island,This is an absolutely perfect location!
Disliked: Doors and windows need retractable screens so we can leave them open at night to hear the waves. Otherwise, perfect!
