Home from home.

Liked: A lovely welcoming home. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Great power shower. Free parking on site was a big bonus.The breakfast was amazing with locally sourced food. A short walk down to the town centre with the train station close by. The walk back up the hill is something to consider. Ziz was very informative and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay and would highly recommend this accommodation for your stay in Matlock

Liked: Good size comfortable rooms. Good food. Well situated.
Disliked: Could have been a better selection of breakfast cereals and preserves.Mattress and pillows were too firm.

Liked: The host prepared very good breakfast for us even though she hurt her hand. Our rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are so comfy! We had an excellent stay at The Sheriff Lodge!

Liked: Plenty of space in a basement room. Close to the town centre albeit situated on a steep hill. Easy parking.
Disliked: Bathroom needed a refresh.

Liked: Ziz was amazing from start to finish. Really helpful and made sure our stay was really comfortable and went smoothly. The house is beautiful and the room had real character.
