Beautiful hotel, amazing beachfront location.

Liked: Amazing location on the beachfront, stunning entrance and public areas were really good. Great facilities in terms of room size and car parking, swimming pool. We got a good deal for the four of us in one room with breakfast included. Breakfast was amazing.
Disliked: Our room was a bit tired in places, creaky floor boards, wonky curtains, fridge didn’t work. Wr were in the annex with no view but the price reflected this.

Creaky floorboards!

Liked: The restaurant, the staff and the facilities (swimming pool).
Disliked: Very creaky floorboards in the room (104). It resulted in a very poor sleep for the both of us. We left early and missed breakfast just so we could return home to sleep.

Pleasant

Liked: Appearance of the building from the outside was very nice. Nice grand entrance with lots of lights.
Disliked: The room we stayed in was very dated and overdue a revamp. Bathroom was tired and water pressure was terrible. The floor boards were very loud with creaking. It reminded me of student accommodation from the 90s. I dare say under new management the accommodation blocks will be done up but currently they are not upto the standard of the cost per night as you would expect. Breakfast selection was also very poor. We had dinner in the orangery and the chef had clearly been on a mad one with lamb and feta cheese combination. The Thai crab cakes were lovely and so was the apple crumble.

Liked: All staff were so helpful and polite ,food was amazing ,facilities were amazing . Was treated like royalty although im just normal guy that had night away with my family.
Disliked: Dogs running off leads ,my daughter was scared as hs been bitten when she was younger

Liked: The hotel was absolutely stunning and the views & scenery are out of this world!We also got a free room upgrade which was amazing! Absolutely beautiful.The staff were pleasant and helpful.The food & cocktails were amazing..the brownie & frozen daiquiri were amazing!
Disliked: The beds were a little too firm for us as where the pillows.It would have been nice if the jacuzzi had hot water
