Staff were very helpful; nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were VERY rude; ridiculous breakfast prices; they messed up keys and paper work when we all checked in; would never use again!

Disliked: Disgusting treatment from start to finish for our whole party.

Somewhere between Fawlty Towers and...

Liked: Convenient for the Conference Centre where we were attending an event.
Disliked: Staff were never in attendance after we had checked in so couldn't speak with them about the services. Room was dingy with holes in the carpet and squeaky boards. Footprints on the walls. Water had to run for ages to get hot through, but the taps didn't work well so getting an optimal temperature was hit and miss. Windows filthy. No antislip in the bath.Bar and restaurant closed. People smoking cigarettes and more right by the entrance. Lift out of service after the first day. No housekeeping. Parking an extra charge.Rooms stifling hot so needed to open window. Very noisy.In the end we left a day early because we couldn't put up with another night. Which served them well as a couple arrived as we were leaving and they'd been double booked so there was no room available for them. Us leaving saved them a load of problems but they didn't offer a refund, or even enquire why we were leaving early.

Liked: Decent size room, clean, close to the beach.

Liked: Room was reasonably spacious
Disliked: Shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot, had to use beakers of water to wash. No plug in sink, hotel reception on duty when arrived, very surly and unhelpful, no replenished milk for drinks. Had we been competing at the dance festival we could not have managed with the lack of basic facilities.

Pleasant

Liked: Perfect location. Literally 5 min walk to the beach and our room had a fantastic beach view. Was very basic. Room was ok a few bit of broken furniture and stains on the carpet however the kids had a great weekend

The place was revolting

Disliked: extremely dirty inside and out dirty nappy on the ground outside the door in entire stay, multiple men hanging around perception with feet on the desk didn’t feel safe in there at all. said early check-in there was no early check-in, room wasn’t ready for three at check-in room smelt musty and mouldy no plug in the bath no pressure in the shower and no hot water anyway went to reception and asked about the hot water. They said that they’d find somebody to come and fix it. They didn’t. They said there was no more rooms to stay in even though there were still rooms available on Booking.com. Hotel car park charges £15 per 24 hours which is extortion for a hotel car park all in all shocking no customer service at all so many better hotels in Bournemouth

Disliked: No air con, apparently refurnished? Not sure when that happened, unsavoury people on site, used to be a homeless hostel and looks like it still is, paid parking despite it saying it was free ... Oh and despite staying the first night, they then didn't have room for us the second night as the hotel was fully booked!!! So we were out on the streets! Staff could not offer alternative accomodation either!!! WORST PLACE EVER!!!??
