Horrible- Avoid

Disliked: Avoid this hotel - do not book - only interested in taking your money Room freezing cold not fit for purpose No hot water 2 out of 8 bulbs working in bathroom - could hardly see bath full of PUBIC HAIRS Tap loose Damp bedding Manager rude and no offer of any compensation paid alot of money for the room and it was not in a habitual state. we were so upset we said we just wanted a refund and wanted to leave the hotel - they refused. We were in the room less than 3hrs Tried calling reception for 45 min no answer ended going down to find someone. Manager rude and unhelpful absolutely shocking customer service Have held our money we are in every right to ask for a refund.

Quirky modernised old hall with...

Liked: A quirky old hall that has been refurbished almost at without considering cost into a very impressive place to visit and stay. Rooms are huge and beautifully appointed as are the various public rooms.
Disliked: Access rod needs fixing.

Despite attempts with an oil...

Liked: Debbie was friendly, looks great inside.
Disliked: Room freezing Cold, bedding felt damp, no hot water in shower, no plug to have a bath, no facilities, outside grounds need work, potholes everywhere. Only 1 member of staff. No other guests around

Amazing Stay

Liked: We were excited to stay here just by the pictures and reviews and we were not let down what an amazing place.From the approach to the Hall to walking round during our stay we were in total awe of the Hall wish we had stayed the previous night and can't wait to stay again for my Daughters graduation at the Racing College.Debbie and Thomas were brilliant so friendly and helpful we felt as if we were at home just a bit posher so from start to finish our stay was a wonderful experience Room Food People and the Hall ❤️

Fantastic hidden gem

Liked: It was like living in a Manor house as part of a family. So friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. So nice to be near the horses and peacocks.
