This is the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. From checking in, the room, down to the valet service - everything was perfect.
Liked: The room and people.

Perfect downtown location for the...
Liked: Awesome location for access to the Columbus Marathon route. Great selection of restaurants just across the street. Breakfast was plentiful with good variety of selections. Absolutely beautiful building- formerly a bank - door to the vault now welcomes you to the breakfast bar area. Great downtown location!

Not what I would expect...
Liked: Room was nice once we switched to a clean one!
Disliked: First and most annoying is the parking. $20 a night in a garage not connected to the building. Back door locked had to walk around the entire building. Then after the hike was placed in a dirty room, after speaking to the people at the front desk we were moved into a better room. (Super nice people at the front desk by the way) Free breakfast food looked ok, but impossible to eat with the dirty dish water smell coming from the silverware. We unfortunately will not be back.

Nice hotel, but a little...
Liked: Nice hot breakfast served in the old vault of the former bank building. The onsite tavern was very good - tasty bar food (candied bacon and buffalo wings were excellent choices during happy hour). Room was comfy with enough seating and lighting. Room seemed clean. Good proximity to most of the downtown attractions. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: No self-parking readily available. Valet parking was an additional $27/day (+ tips). The wi-fi didn't prompt for a password which made me wary that it wasn't secure - so I didn't feel comfortable using it (more data off my plan...). No onsite restaurant - just the bar/tavern. Local places nearby closed early (5pm) which led us further from the hotel to find dining open in the evening. Noisy elevators made a low booming sound that could be heard in our room through the night (we were at least 5 room away from the elevators). Room configuration placed the bed right next to the bathroom - so the light from the bathroom woke my wife when I got up to shower. Windows were filthy - so while there was sort of a view, the dirty windows obscured the ability to enjoy it.
