Red Roof PLUS Jacksonville - Southpoint

Did not have one of our bookings. Took over an hour to check in because of this. Room had trash in the trash can.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Everything.

Never again!

Liked: Check out.
Disliked: Room wasn't ready by checkin; trash in front of my door when we first got to the room; front desk wasn't concerned about why I wanted the main office # to try to resolve anything. Not enough towels in the room. It felt like we were in the ghetto at a budget inn. Never again will I stay in a Red Roof Inn - I'd rather sleep in my car than receive poor service with my hard earned money.

Staff miscommunicated

Liked: They have options for late check out which was really helpful
Disliked: I requested a late check out at the time of check-in (the night before). However in the morning when we came back from breakfast, cleaning staff was half way cleaning our room. Our luggage and clothes were moved and some of my jewelry was lost. I reported to front desk was told that normally customers pay for late check out on the same morning and not the night before like I did, so the system didnt update??

Liked: Got bit by bedbugs and the only thing I was compensated for was for them to say they’re sorry to hear about my experience. I will never use booking.com again as I booked through them trusting that they would have my best interest.

Liked: You get what you pay for but in this case slightly better.
Disliked: Some areas like the bathtub could have been cleaner and the vending machine was broke.

Liked: The comforters had spots on them. Good thing I had my own. The bathroom floor wasn't swept. The bed had my husband and I backs hurting
