Liked: Comfortable bed. Good view of the Solent and Isle of Wight. Better ‘atmosphere’ than modern hotels.
Disliked: Bathroom tired and shower was not thermostatically controlled so difficult to get temperature adjusted.

Liked: Lovely reception staff very helpful and friendly. Good parking lovely hotel our room was great with a lovely sea view.
Disliked: Nothing to report it was all good

Liked: The staff were very friendly especially the waiting staff in the restaurant where we ate dinner.

Disliked: Light outside shone through the gap in the top of the curtains. Would have expected breakfast included in the room price which was expensive

An enjoyable stay

Liked: Everything the staff, the room, the view of the Solent , the food. But what separate this hotel from others was its staff. Nothing was too much bother to them. The greeting Hello, How may I help, to Did you enjoy your day/stay. They were a happy team. My one mistake I didn't observe the girl name who welcome us and said goodbye, she was genuine help us with taxis, saved us money by giving us discount leaflets, checking us out. Thank you for making our birthdays/anniversary so memorable.
