Very good

Liked: Great location and beautiful building
Disliked: Lack of attention to detail. The lovely fittings were not polished, such as the front door fittings and handrail on steps, the windows were smeared so you couldn’t take photos through them. After the morning clean of our room some surfaces had not been cleaned, the water had not been refreshed. Little choice of beverage in the room, no herbal or Earl Grey tea

Excellent quality in lovely traditional...

Liked: Very good breakfast, food at all times very good quality. Staff very friendly and attentive. Catered for a clientelle that was hoping for traditional quality.
Disliked: Only very small points. Because of its target audience a little pricey for food and drink. Older building so decor was lovely but things such as gurgling radiators in morning.

Very disappointed

Liked: Public areas are lovely. Very well maintained and plush.Great views.
Disliked: The room was badly in need of decorating. Only one accessible electric socket. Furniture looked like it was from a charity shop. Wardrobe wasn't big enough to hang suits for the wedding we were attending. Thankfully there were picture rails to hang clothes on.If you're in a hurry don't use the lift. It's tiny and takes forever.Very sad and dingy overall.

Lovely stafff and hotel.

Liked: It was a great hotel, it was my husbands and I 52nd wedding anniversary and we had booked afternoon tea, the staff brought us a lovely glass of champagne and were so attentive and polite, when we got to our room they had put petals on the bed, just made our stay memorable.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were exceptional. The reception staff and housekeeping staff well all polite and helpful. But the highlight and massive credit must go to two of the waiting staff serving breakfast in the busy dining room on Easter Sunday - Sherry and Francesca were both utterly professional, cheerful, helpful and absolutely delightful. Both of them are an absolute credit to the Queens Hotel.
Disliked: I didn't want to leave!
