Superb

Liked: Great location, comfortable bed, windows that one can open and heating/air conditioning that one can control, walkable to downtown Nanaimo in minutes, a breakfast/lunch restaurant off lobby, laundry service for a modest fee.

Liked: Good sized room. Great shower. Good location.

It was a decent one...

Liked: Updated interior and clean facilities. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was a good value for the stay. The underground parking was a helpful addition.
Disliked: There were a few items not in service. The small gym room included was a nice perk but one of the two machines was out of order as well as the ice machines on 2 floors.

Over all it was good.

Liked: Great location. It was clean and modern.
Disliked: The bed. It had a squeak and wasn’t very comfy.

Liked: Complimentary secure underground parking was a nice addition.
Disliked: 1) In suite air conditioning unit was a little noisy.2) Shower enclsoure did not prevent water from signifcantly flowing on to the bathroom floor leaving a large puddle that threatened to flow in to the main room area.

Noisy! But clean room room

Liked: We were booked into a non smoking room but there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke the whole time. The air con unit was VERY loud and woke us up several times in the night as it was heating.The room itself was clean, spacious and modern but the smell and noise from the heater ruined the experience.
