Not worth the price, but...

Liked: The location is great. The staff were really friendly and happy to help. The breakfast is surprisingly good, although there is no hot food.
Disliked: I was stuck on the reception level. I had to walk down a filthy corridor where the service and contractors were. The signs said do not pass the door as contractors only, yet there were a few rooms at the end of the corridor. The carpet is disgusting, all the paint is coming off the wall and I had to weave with my suitcase around contractors, tools and a staff room full of 6 men, as a women on my own. I don’t feel safe and the room wasn’t much better. It was okay, fairly clean but only surface level. The shower was fine, but the glass shower door was a struggle to shut and I was worried about being stuck in. No hand towels. The air con cover was loose so if the air con was on, it made too much noise to sleep - but it was boiling hot as there is no window. For £170+ not what I was expecting overall at all! I wouldn’t stay here again, I didn’t feel safe. It was noisy all night, I woke up 4/5 times. I would spend £30/£40 and stay in a hotel with a hot breakfast, clean and not in a building site!
