Beautiful hotel, comfortable and cosy....

Liked: Superb breakfasts and fabulous location.The hotel had everything in it you would expect from a high end hotel. And it was cosy too.Excellent restaurant. Appreciate the idea of keeping everythung local.Friendly and helpful team. A happy place to spend time in.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff!

Liked: Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The staff were outstanding -so friendly and so helpful. They could not be faulted . The way this hotel keeps weddings separate from hotel guests is amazing. There was a wedding and we hardly knew it was happening .The food in the restaurant was excellent too and all the waiting and bar staff were lovely and so well trained. Reception staff too were so welcoming and friendly and so helpful- thanks to them!! The standards of cleanliness in the rooms were exceptional and cleaning staff should be thanked fir their hard work

Disliked: The noise - loud party throughout the night that kept us awake until past 3am

Disliked: If you have a complaint the staff are not interested in resolving the issue for you in any way. The hotel is noisy and when you are paying £400 a night you can get a better night sleep at a travel lodge. Do not expect a 5 star service in anyway. I would never walk back through the doors of the hotel.

Liked: Very friendly staff, immaculately clean, absolutely stunning room with a massive bed. Whole place smells amazing!
Disliked: Only fault is a flashing smoke detector right over the bed, not a huge problem but annoying when I was trying to drift off.

Good location, tad pricey.

Liked: Location and restaurant were very good.
Disliked: Heating in room broken and couldn’t be fixed.
