Perfect place to stay if...

Liked: Wonderful historic home, beautifully restored. Room had ice maker, refrig, microwave, coffee maker. Molly the owner, was fabulous. Walking distance to the Capitol and other area attractions. Nice restaurant choices in close proximity
Disliked: Nothing

Excellent stay and would recommend!

Liked: The location was excellent as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the room. We felt like we were at home and going to bed! The little extra touches was really nice too! The jetted tub was also a welcome relief after a long day of travel. Molly was very nice and gave us a quick tour and history of the house. There was also information in our room of the history which was very interesting.
Disliked: The only issue we had was the alarm clock went off at midnight! Woke us up and it was hard to go back to sleep. I have never had that happen and did not even think to check that before we went to bed. Also just a heads up the stairway to your room is very steep and would be hard for some to navigate.

Liked: When we travel we love to stay in a place that has history and, boy, does the Pasfield House have history! My favorite space in the house is the spacious front porch. I made myself a large coffee, grabbed the book that I have been reading, and spent a couple of hours enjoying the quiet, the sounds of the breeze in the trees, and for a little while was serenaded by the school marching band that was doing an early morning rehearsal on the football field nearby. It was PERFECT. Our room, The George, was large with a kitchenette that led to the large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Molly, the owner of the home, warmly welcomed us upon our arrival and had some excellent advice for making our stay in Springfield even more enjoyable. We have stayed in many historic homes in a number of states and the Pasfield House is in our top three favorites. An added bonus: Boone's, a pub that has both indoor and outdoor seating with a pretty good menu, is an easy two minute stroll from the House.
Disliked: One bit of caution: those who have mobility challenges may find that this is not room for them (The George). To take a shower one had to step into the large jacuzzi tub which could be difficult for some.

Liked: Molly was a very pleasant and accommodating host! The place is great! I had to go stay in Springfield for work. We are going to go back to Pasfield House just for fun next time!
