Great staff, lovely pool, large...

Liked: All the staff I came into contact with were wonderful, and made the difference to my experience. I had asked for help with an early check-in, and they did their utmost to accommodate which I appreciated. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but I had two rooms with different experiences. I was booked for two nights and my room was large and clean, but I found the bed uncomfortable. The mattress was quite hard, and no underlay to soften it. The bathroom was a good size, but the lighting was too dim to apply makeup. BUT THEN, I needed to extend my stay. I did think about changing hotels, and I'm glad I didn't. Again, the front desk were so helpful, and kindly offered me another room with no delay in between changing rooms. In this next room, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had more natural light. I booked a cabana by the pool to work from (extra cost) and it was comfortable, the pool service team were wonderful and caring, and the atmosphere was lovely. I'm booked to stay again with a group of friends in a few weeks and looking forward to the warm hospitality (and a comfy bed!) :)
Disliked: This is purely personal peeve, but room service trays sat outside doors along the corridor and seemed to take a long time before they were collected. I hate looking at food scraps on the floor :|

Nice and comfortable

Liked: The property is well kept for its age. The room was spacious. Daily breakfast was good but nothing exceptional. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: The price is on a higher side for what it offers. Breakfast selection could have been improved. Pool area is not supervised so always have to be on guard when going in with the kids
