Liked: Overall location
Disliked: Room was not fully ready (body soap was not filled) We had a cockroach in the room.Bar at the pool was overpriced while the quality was really bad.Buildings require some renovations.

Liked: The view off deck Oceanside was well worth the extra cost. No crowds but everything close. Golf within half a mile, snorkeling off lava shore at resort, grocery 1.5 miles, we didn't bring kids but hope to bring grandkids in future. Great kids pool and nice for adults too. Ease of getting a dry towel was very much appreciated :). We will look no further than The Outrigger.
Disliked: Our stay was too short. We regret not doing the Manta Ray night cruise.

Disliked: Standard of food didn't match the standard of the hotel. Very average and quite expensive

Liked: Better food at restaurant than expected. Room was very comfortable, although balcony door was very difficult to open.
Disliked: Initial instructions to room were unclear. Ambiance of restaurant was odd. No deep water in pool (< 5 ft).

Liked: Pool was great, Manta Ray viewing every night from hotel floors / viewing deck.Comfy beds and big rooms
Disliked: Cafe bar staff were not very helpfulOnly one stand up paddle board available at any time
