I made reservations two months before and requested an Oceanside room. I was told they would add a note to my reservation and it wouldn't be a problem. I also called the day before to be sure I was getting an Oceanside room and was told yes and that they also see the note on my reservation. I did not get an oceanside room!

Liked: The room size.
Disliked: The elevator.

Loved it!

Liked: The location was great, the staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and had everything we possibly could have needed. It was also cost effective to stay here so I absolutely recommend.
Disliked: I’m not sure there was anything I didn’t like besides waiting for the elevator on days where there were a large number of guests visiting because it increased the wait time naturally.

I would never use booking.com...

Liked: The beach was close
Disliked: Not having to cut my plans short because of an issue with the door. And at check in I payed for a room that was not available. Had to wait an hr at check in so they could accommodate me

Pay the extra money and...

Liked: The property is close to the beach, restaurants and shops.
Disliked: It was old, nasty and stunk like weed and farts. The parking lot layout is weird and tight. There was some sort of domestic abuse incident, not to mention another fight street below later that evening. Not a place I would let my kids walk around at night like other beach towns.

Liked: Being next to the beach in the restaurant in the hotel
Disliked: The parking there was no parking and later on we got a ticket for we were told to park at
