A long weekend break in...
Liked: Very good location, easy to walk to the French Quarter
Disliked: Most of the staff were wonderful, a couple made us feel that everything was too much trouble - that was the only negative aspect

Great choice for New Orleans
Liked: Beautiful lobby and spacious room. We were upgraded to Power Wing (9th floor). Quiet room. We didn’t use pool or rooftop bar but it looked nice and was clearly popular. Easy walking to French Quarter. Attentive staff. Bed was a bit crunchy - mattress or springs might need replacement. Macaroons on check-in - delicious!!

Liked: Great location, clean and well designed. Pool was good and a great view. Hotel bar and dining were comfortable and reasonably priced.

Beautiful rooms but excessive charges
Liked: The room was beautiful - it was a great size and had a really nice character to it. The hotel was also in an ideal location and it never felt like we were too far from anything. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The walls/ceiling don't seem to be thick enough to block out noise from other rooms. We could easily here our neighbours laughing and talking and one night we could hear the room up above playing music. It was very annoying and something I haven't experienced before in a hotelAdditional charges were unpredictable- there's some sort of $25 room charge daily and room service will charge $10 or so for the task of dropping off a meal.
