Liked: Breakfast, was ok, but they ran out of food. Due to us being a group, they didnt have a big enough table, which meant we had a table in a separate room, which was good of them but meant we had a walk and wait on the food

Disliked: Small bed in a double bedroom… Mattress really old and noisy when turn around.

Liked: Really friendly staff.
Disliked: Room is by the kitchen extract and really loud all night.

Liked: It was very pleasant and the room was good. The staff were all friendly too.
Disliked: Generally good but:Really odd to ask guests to run water for up to 10 minutes to get hot water (I had no problem).I don’t remember reading there was no possibility of an evening meal in the hotel when booking.Shower flooded so had to mop up with shower mat.Strange not to offer ‘real’ coffee at breakfast (and to charge extra for it).

Such a lovely old building,...

Liked: We loved everything, from the very warm welcome when we arrived to the farewell we received when leaving. The whole place is gorgeous, a very old building that creaks when you walk up the stairs, soooo homely. The rooms were soooo clean, beds were comfortable, pillows were soft and the towels were soft and fluffy. Bathroom was so clean. We had a double room and a family room which had a double bed and 2 single beds. There was plenty of space to move around. Bar area was really inviting. My Husband said the Gents toilet downstairs was the best he had ever been in! The breakfast is served in the breakfast room, separate to the restaurant and this was great. The large full English was delicious and piping hot. Croissants, Muffins, toast, jams, fruit, tea, coffee and juices are plentiful. We would definitely come back to stay, thank you so much x
