Dan, Madera, visiting Hollywood Bowl

I pretty much summed it up above.

Liked: Walking distance to Hollywood Bowl, walk of fame, food, mall, lots of "colorful people" around. Great - real Hollywood experience.
Disliked: Parking is a big problem (12 bucks a day extra, if they have an open spot underground); no shampoo or conditioner; no coffee.

Everything was good till it...

Liked: The hotel is in a rough neighborhood but you can’t beat the price. The staff was nice the hotel was clean ! ….but we were not able to sleep at all there was people banging there doors yelling and fight drunk from 1am-5am and the staff did nothing about it ! Will not stay here again

You get what you pay...

Liked: Beds comfortable. Good location IF you want to be close to walk of fame.
Disliked: It’s very economical but very basic. Fine for somewhere to sleep. It smells strongly of cleaning product… but not in a clean way. Could hear the neighbour’s tv from our room. Street itself is fine and we felt safe during the day.

Wouldn’t stay again

Liked: Laundry room
Disliked: Smell of weed in the room every night.Extremely thin walls. Could hear upstair neighbor walking. People yelling and running in the hallway. Loud music in one of the rooms. There is no kettle in the room and no where to get hot water for an instant noodle soup. Not even at reception. It’s half a block from hollywood blvd. But it’s dark and strange people gather right outside. It’s a 15 mins walk to the metro station. Area can feel unsafe after dark. Elevator was broken upon check out and they failed to send someone to help me pull my luggage 4 stories down.
