I pretty much summed it up above.

Liked: Walking distance to Hollywood Bowl, walk of fame, food, mall, lots of "colorful people" around. Great - real Hollywood experience.
Disliked: Parking is a big problem (12 bucks a day extra, if they have an open spot underground); no shampoo or conditioner; no coffee.

Loud

Liked: The beds were ok.
Disliked: Super loud all day and night. Neighborhood is pretty bad, although there are nicer ones nearby. There are better options for just a but more money in the area.

Bad

Liked: Location
Disliked: Too dirty, the toilet paper finish, had just one.

Superb

rented due to it was...

Liked: Front desk was courteous. Room was very clean.
Disliked: Paying for parking. Vacuuming at 5pm. Loud stomping above. Window did not lock.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff is very good, plus management super good a really professionais l lady her name is Vivianreally nice lady
Disliked: The fact that if someone visits you they have to pay20 extra for the parking lot

2 room family stay prelude...

Liked: Staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean..yes the building is old but they did a great job updating the rooms. People complained about noise...I didnt find it too noisy our night except for someone's dog when some people came by but they finally kept quiet..
Disliked: I totally understand why they don't have a coffee pot In Each room...you can get coffee down stairs...monitored. But...I think they should have small shampoos at least..bar soap.helps..can be hand and body soap...but I wouldn't wash my hair w that...we were only overnight so not a big deal..if plan on staying longer..bring your own travel.size shower items. :)

Good location, typical Motel 6.

Liked: Location is good. You can walk to the Hollywood walk of fame. Some nice restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. 20 minutes drive from Universal.
Disliked: Even though the parking is paid, it gets full very quick on busy days. Permanent presence of homeless people right next to the hotel is another concern but that seems to be the case with most hotels in downtown area.
