Loved the room. Food was excellent. Staff, from valet to the front desk staff, were superb! The price was considerably lower than the (less the great) hotels in the area.

Liked: Rooms and staff.
Disliked: Construction and elevators.

It sucked....

Liked: The roof over my head after driving 4 hours.
Disliked: I called the night before to check on my reservation and was told therewould be a microwave in the room. It wasn't, and when I asked susanat the desk, She put the blame on "damn maintenance workers thatdon't know what they're doing" and later (2330 at night)when she called my room after trying (?) to find one, told me sorry, butmicrowaves are "first come, first served". Room was reservedfor 4 people, yet there were only 2 small bottles of shampoo and wash. Her remarks about the "damn maintenance workers" really pissedme off. What do maintenance workers have to do with making sure roomsare equipped with microwaves?? Susan's putting the blame onmaintenance people more than anything else put me in the frame of mindto totally avoid this place in the future. Booking dot com stated theywere only 8 miles from Mall of America yet road construction took meover 20 miles to get there. The mall was great, but accommodations atthis establishment really blew this trip out of the water.

Liked: We were given a complementary bottle of wine and cheese plate because I just mentioned that it was my husband's birthday. How very nice!!!!
Disliked: AC in hallways and lobby set too cold! AND there was a lovely-looking but wasteful gas fire burning in the lobby. Are you thinking about the environment?
