Heather, Rochester, visiting Orpheum Theatre Minneapolis Thu, 27 October 2016

Loved the room. Food was excellent. Staff, from valet to the front desk staff, were superb! The price was considerably lower than the (less the great) hotels in the area.

Liked: Rooms and staff.
Disliked: Construction and elevators.

My head is full of...

Liked: Did not have breakfast, great location, easy to use internally
Disliked: Your staff did not know about the "Open Doors" opportunity in Mpls. that weekend. That may be the fault of their PR at "Open Doors" but I toured two of the places and your location was great for that.

Very good

Liked: Close to Nicollet Mall with allowed easy walking distance to restaunts and shopping.
Disliked: The sheets on the beds were too small so they continually popped off on the corners and you would be sleeping on the mattress pad by morning.

A very good hotel and...

Liked: A nice hotel, well situated in downtown and on bus lines for the short trip to Target Field, Target Center, the airport, freeways, restaurants, etc.
Disliked: The bed was somewhat soft for my taste, though others would like them I am sure. However, the parking garage needs a very thorough scrub and repaint, as well as the stairwells to the hotel itself. It is really dirty, though easy to use.

First experience with Millennium Hotels,...

Liked: It was connected to the Skywalk. Liked that because I did not have to go outside in the cold and rain. Some of the staff were very nice and very helpful. I needed a microwave and the staff quickly brought it up. I was surprised that I got it at no extra cost.
Disliked: I stayed in room 1204 on the club level. The ventilation system was so dirty, that by the time I left I had a respiratory infection, requiring antibiotics. The carpet was never vaccumed. When I patted the carpet a plume of dust came up. The hotels in the area were completely full, so I could not move and had to attend my meetings. Also, the furniture looked worn, dirty and shiny in the room. In the lobby, the seating also looked soiled and old. On the last day of my stay, the club room was undergoing repairs, so paid customers could not enter. Even though we paid for full access, we could only get a coupon for an appetizer at the restaurant, no refunds allowed. The hotel was so stingy that they gave us the appetizer but we had to pay for our drinks (tea and soda).
