Liked: Location and design are great
Disliked: Service was ok. Called room service on several occasions and there was no answer, had to go through front desk to place an order. Bathroom was superficially cleaned. Staff was overall friendly.

A great stay but hotel...

Liked: Great location, beautiful stylish hotel. Room was lovely.
Disliked: The staff are very friendly but service knocks off a star rating I think this is down to training & inexperience. I had 3 suitcases to manage to my room but no offer of assistance was forthcoming although there were 5 staff on reception. No table service in the bar area which seems odd. Breakfast is very minimal and not replenished quickly. It was the same each day one had to ask repeatedly if more items including basics like coffee, plates were coming out. More food was available but the staff didn’t refill. It’s quite chaotic arriving by car we waited 15 mins for the ability to pull up to check in and gave up on the idea when leaving we simply had to carry them along to street parking.

Liked: Loved the beauty of the hotel and the history.
Disliked: I think lunch options at the Bardo Bar by the pool could be improved. Some items that are more substantial-sandwiches, burgers, soups.

Very Underwhelming

Liked: Beautiful location on a big park
Disliked: The door to the room stopped working and I was locked out of my room overnight without any of my things including laptop and medications. Hotel said they would comp the stay but haven’t done that yet. Extremely frustrating to not have staff available to deal with that type of emergencies.

Stylish Hotel at Forsyth Park

Liked: Stylish hotel at the best possible location in Savannah across from Forsyth Park. Service is great too! The only issue was that our room was across the hall from housekeeping closet and service entry into the hotel on the first floor, so it was noisy early in the morning before we were really ready to be up. Next time I’ll make sure to ask not to be on the 1st floor.
