Nice place to stay. Friendly staff - very helpful. Close to the House of Blues - you can't walk there though, you must take a cab or their shuttle bus.

What an amazing place to stay. Spacious rooms (we had a great corner suite), within easy walking distance to all that is "happening" in Dallas. We will definitely stay there again!

Simple & elegant

Liked: The restaurant was casual yet somehow elegant with delicious food. The shuttle was very helpful. It will take you & retrieve you as far as 3 miles.
Disliked: Location was not as good as I hoped for. The street was very narrow with lots of traffic & the hotel stops caused jams which led to long waits for a ride at certain times. Thought I'd miss my flight because couldn't get a taxi.

Historic hotel with great location...

Liked: The hotel was very comfortable - nice size room and bathroom for a historic hotel. The bar and restaurant always had something to offer. The valet service was quick and efficient. It was located near restaurants, museums, shops, and a cool little plaza behind the building.
Disliked: The bar/restaurant area is kind of confusing. As in, it?s all in the same area so it was awkward knowing where to go to order a drink or to be sat for dinner. The servers did a great job of explaining it but I?m sure they get tired of helping people figure this out. Maybe some signage or regrouping of furniture would help.
