Place was clean but not...

Disliked: Staff was rather rude and acted like we were an inconvenience for anything asked. Room wasn’t exactly as advertised.

A bit disappointed

Liked: The renovations are beautiful. Its be 15 years since I’ve been back at this property. It was actually where I got my first job . My husband and I met at this property and decided to revisit now that I am finished with MED school and he’s advanced with his career. The property didn’t disappoint in appearance and although the interior has changed our memories there did not. And it was nice to walk through the building remembering where we met.
Disliked: This was a very special night at the property for my husband and I. I arranged some edible arrangements to be sent to the hotel and I just asked the staff if they could place them in the room for my husband to see once he arrived. The front desk employee was very rude and told me that wasn’t possible. Even though I know It could’ve been arranged. I was in the hotel industry for 5-8 years before becoming a MD. But I understand, hospitality must not be the same as when I used to work there. It was alright though. Room wasn’t as clean as I expected. There was food stain on the floor under the desk. And bed wasn’t presentable.

Liked: The Griffin Gate is modern, well kept, clean and well located for any activity one would want to enjoy in the area.
Disliked: The room was hot! There little to no control of the temperature in the room. We had to sleep with the window open to be able to sleep.

Liked: Location and holf
Disliked: Paid resort fee twice

Liked: Location and comfortable bed.
Disliked: Starbucks should accept Starbucks card!

Disappointing

Disliked: I did not like the roaches found in the bathroom on the morning of my checkout date. :)

Exceptional

Great location. Beautiful hotel

Liked: Check in is always a breeze. I love the restaurant and bar with the complimentary drink. The rooms are very clean and comfy.
Disliked: The walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbors talk all night long. And they were talking in a normal volume.
