Leonardo Hotel Southampton

The bed was very comfortable and the room was suitable for 2 of us. We did sleep well and enjoyed the buffet breakfast where there was a large choice on offer.

Liked: The staff were attentive and helpful.
Disliked: Our room was quite cold; there was a big stain on the carpet and the sink was cracked.

Not bad, and staff were pleasant and helpful.

Liked: Good value for money; parking was hassle free and cheap; easy walking distance to town centre. Room was clean and functional.
Disliked: Morning shower was luke warm and our sleep was disrupted.

The room was very over priced and not to clean, the breakfast was of poor standard and had to ask for cutlery, sausages and eggs , then waited even longer, no cereal. Not going to return. I complained to manager at the time got parking paid! But no apology.

Disliked: A bit shabby and rubbish breakfast

Disliked: Banging from workman in room next to me. I think they were laying a carpet. Wasn't warned about this

Disappointing

Liked: The room was comfortable and the breakfast staff were very friendly and playful with my son.
Disliked: No parking. And not only that, the drop off was blocked by a delivery van so after circling the hotel 4 or 5 times I had to put my hazard lights on and stop so I could run in and ask for where to park. With a very upset baby in the back seat we were really happy to arrive only for it to be another hour before we can rest, as we had to park in the multistory the other side of town and walked with suitcases and buggies. When we tried to call the reception from the room for about 30 mins the following morning to ask about extending our stay and nobody answered or called back, So we ended up just leaving and going somewhere else.

Liked: Location & cleanliness.
Disliked: Checking in & out was taking more than what was expected time wise. Staff were friendly but there were very few of them at the reception to handle customers.

Liked: Lovely professional staff looked after us very well.One particular young lady went out of her way to get a refund put back on my debit card incredible customer care.Definitely stay there again next year before my cruise
