Langley Castle Hotel

Superb

Liked: Great location, very spacious, exceptionally clean and quiet suite.
Disliked: Really very good overall but restaurant service slow and disorganised. Although breakfast was very good both in choice and quality, getting the cooked food before any drink and having to chase this up more than once marred the experience slightly. The service at dinner was better but equally slow (table reserved for 8, asked to come in to dine at 8.45).

Lovely break

Liked: Staff were lovely and it was a beautiful location. Food was delicious we had a fine dining meal in the restaurant and breakfast, really enjoyed both.
Disliked: When dining we didn't realise you could order from 2 menus. We ordered from the fine dining menu which was lovely but the portions were tiny, but there was also a bar menu with burgers, pie and chips etc which were bigger portions and we didn't realise until we'd ordered.

Liked: A short walk to the castle and quiet evening in the drawing room for a drink then meal was excellent

Liked: Couldn't fault anything..staff were extremely helpful..the hotel was of a very high standard..drawing room was lovely and bar staff brought your drinks to you very quickly

Liked: Beautiful historic building, comfy room, restful atmosphere.
Disliked: Room decor a little tired but we loved our stay anyway. The tour of the castle was excellent.

Disliked: The bathroom was far too hot and there were no windows for ventilation in the bathroom.

Relaxing, historical and enjoyable.

Liked: The location and setting was perfect and the staff were pleasant.Very relaxing place, away from the hustle and bustle.
Disliked: The attentiveness of the staff could be a little lacking on occasion: left waiting to order food / drinks, waiting to receive drinks, delay between courses in Restaurant.
