This magnificent 14th-century castle is set in a 12-acre woodland estate. Many rooms have luxury features such as four-poster beds or a window seat set in the old stone walls looking out over the beautiful grounds. You can also have a drink in the superb drawing room with stained-glass windows and a log fire. The award-winning Langley Castle was built in 1350 during the reign of Edward III. A wonderful stay made my...

Liked: The location was idilyic and the staff lovely and friendly. I was given a suite and that was lovely and relaxing as family were coming round. Great food both in the evening and for breakfast. The historical tour was fascinating.
Disliked: Nothing that I can think of.

Liked: The staff were friendly and really helpful in every way.The accomodation was beautiful and quiet and certainly reccomend if you need somewhere to re charge the battery.

Liked: We stayed in the Castle Lodge with views of the castle, this room came with a large terrace where you can sit viewing the castle and grounds. Waiting for us in the room was selection of teas, coffee bags and biscuits.

Should have paid more to...

Liked: The castle itself was excellent, as was the food,
Disliked: The room in the Lodge at the bottom of the drive was poor. Cheap (and some broken) furniture and decor.
