We had a pleasant stay at La Quinta.

Liked: Hotel seems updated in a nice modern style. I like the laminate floors in bath and sink areas.
Disliked: Some parts of the property have not been updated. There were torn cushions on several pieces of furniture.

Disappointing, will not stay again.

Liked: Entry way was cute. That’s about it.
Disliked: Rented a king room, but got placed in two double bed room. A/C didn’t work. Hallways were dirty. Elevator is terrifying and aggressively jumpy.

Disliked: Upon check in we were given a room without a smoke alarm. We were moved to another room which had broken sink taps, broken lamps, one wall switch was not working, under the mattress were a pile of ripped out pages from a novel, the rug was dirty, the freezer needs to be defrosted.The elevator was very sketchy, at times it didn’t move. Breakfast was horrible, no breakfast meat, no fruit, no yogurt, no ketchup, only white bread and bagels. We went down at 6:40 am for breakfast and couldn’t find a plate. 3 times I went to the front desk to find no employee available to assist me. The pool was not clean neither was the outdoor furniture. If the had been my 1st visit to your hotel branch, I would never book a room again with your chain. We have stayed at other locations and have neither seen a hotel in such a poor state.

Worn down hotel with poor...

Liked: Close to Florida Panthers Arena.
Disliked: The hotel is very aged, torn carpet, door veneer peeling, scratched floors, dented walls.Our room smelt horribly of Marijuana. We were able to get the rooms changed. But, the front desk person complained that they would have to clean the room. We pay for the rooms and hotel to be cleaned. And also complained that we did not say something immediately. We checked in and immediately left for the hockey game hoping the smell would dissipate. When it did not, we reported the problem when we returned. The room smell should have been reported by house keeping and never allowed to be rented to us.The free breakfast was very poor. Only egg, bread, cereal, waffle, juice and coffee. No bacon or sausage, no fruit, no yogurt, no baked options.

Liked: Location, close to the hockey arena.
Disliked: Room: Poor, very noisy ac unitBathroom: Poor, very noisy fanBreakfast: PoorParking: Management allowed several trucks with trailers loaded with boats and sea-doo's that occupied 1/3 of parking spaces. I had to park in a handicap spot. When bringing this to the attention of the desk manager he ignored me and told me not to worry.

Exceptional

Was what I expected except...

Liked: Great location, cheap price, nice neighbourhood, close proximity to sawgrass, bus easily accessible, back area by pool was very relaxing at night
Disliked: Breakfast was poor. No meat, no fruit, no veges, no yogurt or cheese.

Good

Liked: Location close to the Amerkant Arena for Panthers ice hockey game.
Disliked: Poor american breakfast.

Liked: Absolutely nothinh
Disliked: Everything nothing works the hotel needs to close down had to do maid service stayed for 5 have yet to get clean sheets or room service a real dump

Make sure you always check...

Liked: The location was great for our reason of travel. It was close to our venue but far enough away that traffic wasn’t too bad.
Disliked: The pictures are either very outdated or we didn’t have an “updated room”. The microwave literally looked like it was from the 1900’s. The carpets were covered in stains. Floors and walls falling apart. The bed was ok but not great. The fridge was not clean.
