Complete Rip Off

Liked: The Kentucky Grand Hotel closed down nearly eight months ago. We were told of that two hours before our arrival. Waiting for a refund.We had to find an alternate hotel with almost no notice.
Disliked: The Kentucky Grand is being converted into an office building with a Grand Opening this October. Why did no one inform us?

It's a boutique hotel not...

Liked: Big spacious rooms
Disliked: To much boutique , to little hotel. There was no on site bar and restaurant. After a certain hour there is no staff on the property kinda weird.

Absolutely loved this hotel.

Liked: The room was very nice. Clean, and comfortable. The building was stepping back in time. Will probably stay again.

Liked: Bed was great .
Disliked: No shower curtain or door , so water goes all over the floor creating a fall hazard when getting out . TV was on and off constantly. Piano bar closed , big let down for our anniversary.

Liked: The room was beautiful. The view was wonderful. Ali, the front desk worker was very friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable of the area. The location is very convenient as everything was just in walking distance
Disliked: The TV was not working too well. I was bummed that they no longer had a lounge. I was looking forward to that. The shower stall could use a handicap hand rail. Other than that. I enjoyed my stay

Disliked: no ambiance as it’s portrayed on the website. expensive night stay, bar restaurant closed under some type of but bot physical construction
