J-Stel Hostel

Disliked: Notice on front door.

Liked: Absolutely Nothing, they never clean the room. The bathroom was under construction,full of dust, it was a bad experience.
Disliked: The whole hotel, you never see a person taking care of the customer,pretty bad.

Liked: Proximity to subway station, safe neighborhood, price is excellent
Disliked: Very plain youth hostel, kitchen needs more cutlery and cooking utensils. I'm sad that there is no common area anymore as that limits meeting fellow residents.

Disliked: Room too small Bathroom was outside room Far from airport AC wasnt working properly Address was wrong and we had to take detour

Disliked: No staff and correct signs about what is happening in the hotel

Liked: Nothing. I wasn't let in.
Disliked: The place looked strange/unsafe.

Unique. Very London inspired. Cute common areas and room. Everything seemed clean except towels. I prefer not to share bar soap with strangers!!! Spring for individual soaps or liquid dispensers. Price was affordable

Liked: Location was close to our destination
Disliked: NYC "partial closed" papers posted on front door!!... Listing should describe it as a "boarding house-bedsit" instead of a hotel room. I'm ok with shared bathroom and kitchen, but spring for individual soaps please, and towels were stained and threadworn.

Liked: I forgot my passport and wallet in the bedroom when I left. The cleaner ran the whole street to find me and give me back. She couldn't breath and had a lot sweat because she ran so fast.

Liked: Amazing area of Brooklyn to stay in!
Disliked: Not much.
