ibis Portsmouth

Location was great; room was clean and warm; staff very friendly. The IBIS was a pleasant surprise - will go there again.

Disliked: Bathroom was a bit on the small size.

We stayed overnight to attend Adam Ant concert at Portsmouth Guildhall. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Liked: Brilliant staff.
Disliked: Just a bit of noise from youngsters but not really a problem.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. We chose this hotel as it was near the Portsmouth Guildhall. We had tickets to see Bryan Ferry (unfortunately due to ill health he had to cancel). Will definitely use this hotel again when the concert is re-scheduled.

Liked: Location is excellent . Walking distance from train station, Gunwharf quays and Old Portsmouth. Very clean room, comfy bed and friendly staff. Good breakfast, bar and supper
Disliked: Rooms squeeze maximum into a small space - impressive too

Dog friendly, clean and comfortable...

Liked: Dog-friendly. The room, especially the bathroom, was small but very clean. The staff did a great job, and the hotel is centrally located in Portsmouth town centre.

Liked: Staff on arrival and during were excellent and friendly. Rooms were compact and suitable for our requirements
Disliked: reception area toilets were not clean. I used the toilet on the Monday night and excrement was up the back of the bowl it was still there Tuesday afternoon. This is my only critisism
