Liked: Lovely staff, comfy beds
Disliked: Noisy even with quadruple glazing. Noise from busy roundabout and inside the hotel. Dangerous polluted road to cross to get to town.

Convenient stop close to venue

Liked: We needed a place handy for walking to Chesterfield cricket ground with parking. The IBIS was perfect on both counts.
Disliked: Nothing. It met our needs perfectly at an astonishingly good price.

Great hotel

Liked: Clean room, close to town centre, free parking
Disliked: Nothing was negative

Ok - would’ve stay there...

Liked: Friendly receptionists
Disliked: Lift not working

Disliked: Room was hot (decent weather) but because of the noisy location opening the window wasn't really an option

Ibis Chesterfield

Liked: The location
Disliked: The rooms were shabby and dirty, the reception staff were rude and quite arrogant. This is the 3rd year we have stayed and the 1st and 2nd years were fine but something has gone wrong with this hotel this year. Suggest new cleaning and maintenance contractors as these have some serious issues. I would also say that some retraining of front of house, witnessing a full blown argument between a customer and front of house regardless of fault is never a good thing and made other customers uneasy.
