Would not stop here again

Liked: Very dated needs updating.
Disliked: Rooms very dated needs bring up to date. Would not be stopping again

Glad I came.

Liked: On arrival I was met by 2 marvellously friendly staff on reception -I begged pity following a ridiculous Nat Express journey + got full-on sympathy.Check-in was fast + painless.
Disliked: Access on foot from the town centre is via the car park -maybe Nat Express + Ibis wanted me to drive.By-pass traffic was a bit noisy but exhaustion let me sleep ok.

Very good

Liked: Easy to find.Great location two minutesto the town..clean.good .selection of complementary drinks teas coffee hot chocolate.
Disliked: That you have to pay £12 each for breakfast.

Comfortable room, easy access to...

Liked: Breakfast was very good, with a variety of food options on offer. The hotel was close town. The room was basic but comfortable.
Disliked: On my first night I arrived at about 9.15pm to be told that they had stopped serving food; I wasn't surprised because it was quite late.On my second night I was looking forward to dinner and the semi-final on TV. The time is 8.25pm. While I'm waiting to be served at the bar I'm looking at the menu, but the bar tender says "by the way, we've stopped serving". I was shocked and said, "you have got to be joking, it's not even half past eight!". After some discussion he reluctantly agreed to serve me a pepperoni pizza, which was awful. There was no other choice, take it or leave it.
