The check in staff were welcoming and friendly. From the moment I arrived, nothing was too much trouble; they even asked how the gig was when I returned. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower was lovely. Hotel was in a location convenient to Wedgewood Rooms and very close to Fratton Railway Station.

Nice hotel and did what it said 'on the tin'. Good location for us and stayed two nights. Thank you.

Liked: Staff were helpful (as we needed to rearrange our check in - needed an early check in but didn't know until 12 hours earlier that this was required.) We paid the £10 and checked in 2 hours early.
Disliked: Would like to have seen a kettle in the room, even if we had to provide coffee, milk, cups etc.

Awful hotel. Prison vibes

Liked: Not much. Get what you pay for if what you pay for is a prison experience. The room was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. Was also conned out of breakfast as was told on check in that I didn't have breakfast booked and it would cost £8.50pp to have it but I realised after our stay that I had booked and paid for breakfast. I complained and was refused a refund for the breakfast and told to complain to Booking.com. even though it was their staff that told me I didn't have it booked.
Disliked: Just an awful hotel. Would never stay here again. Smell of weed on the ground floor which appeared to be wholly occupied by the applicants of the local councils Homelessness team. I suspect it's used as emergency accommodation. The room was bare, sink and shower is in the room, as in next to the bed, and a separate small cupboard houses the toilet. It was handy for the ferry the next morning but you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

Disliked: what I didn't like was the view from was nt great but I was only using it to sleep anyway it was missing a kettle in the room that would of been good also the steps to the bung bed was vertical so getting up was good but getting down was awful
