Rooms were clean; valet personnel were extremely helpful. Excellent location; the hotel is beautiful!

Regretful

Disliked: The fact that I left my luggage bag in the room by mistake. When i called the hotel later that day i described my luggage bag and my belongings and the person I spoke to tried to dismiss me and stated my personal belongings where there but not in my luggage bag but in a clear plastic bag. This person took me serious after I explained that I would be filing a complaint if they didn’t find my luggage bag. I only received one phone call the next day asking if anyone was keeping me updated as to the search of my bag. That was it. I had to call the hotel to get updates. When I called the third day I was told by someone I would have to provide my own mailing label so they could return my belongings. I asked for a description and this person included by bag. Obviously had no knowledge about what was going on. So head if house keeping got on the phone. She apologized for the delay in finding my bag. But some of my belongings were not recovered. My blow dryer and make up brushes were not found. The hotel replaced my blow dryer with another one. But not the same. So, now I am convinced that a staff member of your establishment tried to keep my luggage bag, kept my blow dryer and makeup brushes. That is about 900 dollars of items that I left behind. I should have pressed charges. The only reason why i didn’t was because my 700 dollar MK luggage tote was found and returned. Along with the effort of replacing my 80 dollar blow dryer with another one of slightly higher value. I didn’t know the brushes were missing until my belongings arrived. But if that person was that desperate they can have what they took from me. With that being said. I will never stay in your establishment again.

Disliked: The valet parking was awful. Incredibly expensive and took almost 30mins to get our car when we departed.

Liked: The check-in staff member was really nice. He changed our room from the 4th floor to the 10th floor when I asked if we had a room with a view. We ended up with a view of the Alamo.
Disliked: We were at the pool and ordered drinks. The sign at the pool told us what section we were in for food/drink orders to be delivered. Although I put in the section, they delivered our drinks to our room instead.

Liked: The location is ideal, the premises are exceptionally clean, and the staff is outstanding, with the Q bar boasting highly skilled bartenders. Our anniversary trip was flawless from start to finish.We were greeted from the time we walked in the door until we got in our Uber back to the airport. We even got gifted a bottle of wine for our anniversary! 10/10 highly recommend!
