Hyatt Place Houston Sugar Land, Sugar Land

The Hyatt Place is not near anything. Will do as we always do in the future. Book at the Marriott early. Near restaurants and nice.

Liked: The room.
Disliked: The people working there. Mr. J at the front desk just left without confirming when our room was ready. The other front desk guy had a conscience. Lady at the same desk in the morning was rude.

Not sure I'll be back.

Liked: Nice shower. Comfortable bed. Clean.
Disliked: Completely unimpressed with staff at check-in and check-out. Unfriendly; no personality. Neither seemed like they cared about their job or if I was happy. Also the couch in my room was worn out.

Convenient location set off the main street which made the stay much more pleasant.

Liked: Spacious rooms.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I reserved my room for 3 nights with a note stating i will arive at a certain time and I drove 15 hours to get there. When I got there my room was sold. I got there at 5:30 am with a special needs child and another child. The front desk guy claimed there was nothing stating what time I will get there and instead of calling me he sold the room and put me down as a no-show. Then explained after 2am if you don't arrive they can cancel your reservation. He then pretended not to have any rooms, so I questioned him. Then, all of a sudden, a room popped up, but not the room I reserved. I asked for a discount, being that I paid for more than the room was worth. The next day, I spoke to the manager, and they gave me the room I requested but not a refund for the night before or anything showing their apologies for their mistake. Ants were in my room, and I couldn't sleep on the bed. I slept on the couch the whole time. Facilities were beautiful but had a bad experience and a bad room from the start. My trip was ruined. From the stress, I had migraines the whole time.
Disliked: They weren't honest and didn't care that I was traveling out of state to atleast have the decency to call me and see if I was still coming to hold my room.

Liked: I would appreciate all the services neat and clean rooms and bathroom as well..i extended my stay as i will gety new rental apartment keys later i prefer to sray here
