Disappointing

Not a bad place, but...

Liked: Beds were great, location worked well, some of the staff were amazing. Quiet. No evidence of bedbugs. Generally clean.
Disliked: Couldn?t connect to wifi with our Mac; phone in room did not work & we didn?t have roaming; light above bed was broken; halls often had garbage or laundry in them. Room was VERY small, though a few rooms on each floor seem significantly larger. Blackout curtain was broken at the top and sagging, so to use blackout we had to climb onto the bed to adjust it and put something against the curtain for the night to keep it in place. Felt like the owners weren?t doing much upkeep.

Disliked: The property was under renovation so arrangements were made for me to stay at the Bonvoy Sheraton across the street at no additional cost.

Ok for a short stay....

Liked: The lady at the front desk on Saturday morning, 3/19, was very helpful!Bed and bathroom were ok.
Disliked: SIGNAGE outside! Lighting in the room.Adding $100 to my bill for "possible damages". Never had that happen at any other hotel. Man at checkin 3/18, could have offered help-I am clearly an older person alone. He didn't offer help with my bag or transportation, the neighborhood etc.

Liked: The bed is always comfortable. The shower pressure was just right.
Disliked: I didn't have heat the first night so ended up being offered a space heater after the "maintenance fella" was supposed to fix it. The thermostat was half off the wall. He looked at it a bit then said he'd be back but never came back. So I was offered a space heater for the night catching cramps in my legs because it was so cold. When I asked to change rooms I was told they were booked check again the next day. I requested a comp for the cost of the first night.
