People unsafe not very helpful...

Liked: If there were not gun shots at night and a lot of homeless people not only asking for money but to use our room also if you are better than me location I liked
Disliked: The door in hour room didn’t lock properly when I brought this up to staff they offered to put a screw in it there were people above us who sounded like they were moving dead bodies around the pool you don’t have access to you have to go to reception to have them open I ended up cleaning the pool one day I had booked 4 nights stayed 2 far to unsafe far to much noise not clean enough I have photos to prove this

Liked: Location
Disliked: Bathroom was not clean, limited soap and shampoo, no conditioner for hair, limited towels for drying off after shower

Definitely a budget option, but...

Liked: It's definitely nothing fancy, BUT... the room was large, the bed was enormous and very comfortable, the wifi was decent, the location is of course amazing for Hollywood, and the staff very very friendly. Definitely recommend for a fantastic budget option with decent access to the Walk of Fame, as well as bus and subway options.
Disliked: The fridge actually didn't work (although I wasn't that bothered), and the air con was kinda noisy, but you get used to it. But neither of which was a major problem for me.

Liked: The hotel seems to have been taken over by new owners or management. The walls and floors inside and out had a new coat of paint and the furniture is updated. The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The room I booked smelled of urine when I walked in. The clerk moved me to another room, but that took moving all my things. The towels and sheets are stained, threadbare, and sparse. No hand towel or washcloth, just a couple of small full-size towels. The clerk did say that they had ordered all new towels. This is why I think it recently changed ownership.

Liked: Great location and good price. Decent facilities, receptionist was nice
Disliked: There were a variety of hairs in the bathroom of different colours so not sure how long they had been there. Room smelled a bit but not overbearing, just not pleasant. Rooms above woke us up at 2:30am running around and screaming, there is no quiet policy so if you’re by some noisy folk there’s not much you can do.There is also traffic noise but that’s to be expected so we didn’t mind The hotel is advertised as free parking but this is not the case, we had to pay $15.

Liked: That hotel is a very bad area I didn't feel safe. Spicely not for families with small children. Very dirty room . There was mold in the bathroom. The window looks very old I'm not glad I was there only one night . The receptionist was very rude.
Disliked: Hotel charge car parking per vehicle $15 dollars its not included in hotel bookings
